school selection advice

Please accept my gratitude for helping the candidates through this forum.

My profile:
Male, GMAT: 710 (Q 50, V 37), GPA: 2.7, B.Tech. Electrical Engg. (National Institute of Technology, India)
ECs - heavily involved in sports - football, squash, badminton, etc., National level university football team captain. Multi year Involvement with Ecological and children welfare club in india. Was Majorly invloved in university (technical, cultural, Sports) events organisation and participation. Creative writing and micro-blogging.
WE: 3+ years Top tier Indian IT company. Working as a consultant for a multinational investement bank in london for last one year. few patents (Research + consulting profile)
Future goals: Long term career goals are aligned to switching to any healthcare consulting, providers and suppliers. Preference for schools strong in internship and job prospects in healthcare industry.

Applied to Haas (Round 2) and ISB (Round 1) so far.
Contemplating on applying to Duke (Fuqua), Ross, Darden, LBS, NUS, IESE, Schulich. Cannot put much effort towards applications to all. Hence, I am trying to determine my best probable-fit and chances in the next rounds of admission. Please advise.

Hi goddy,

Thanks for writing in. Your GMAT seems within range for these schools, but as I'm sure you know your GPA may draw some concern from these schools. You'll also need to work hard to break out of the "male Indian IT" cohort. Your desire to switch careers and your work with child welfare can help do this.

While I am not experts in all of the schools you listed, if are you looking for 3 options from that list, I'd select one from the Ross/Fuqua/Darden group, one from LBS/Schulich and one from IESE/NUS.
