rounded digit problem

What is result when x is rounded to the nearest hundrenth?
a) When x is rounded to nearest thousandth result is 0.455
b) The thousandths digit of x is 5.

Answer is C. Pls explain.

:) This is funny but I looked at the question for some time and wasn't able to solve it. I came back some time later and am now able to solve it. Th answer is indeed C.
