round 1 v/s round 2

I would like your thoughts on applying in Round1 v/s Round2. I have heard many pros and cons for either approach. Does the competition significantly increase in Round2 especially for the top schools?

I know answer will be apply when you're applications are ready.

But if you could answer based on the assumption that all applications are ready to go.

Is there any benefit to waiting until Round 2 to submit?

There isn't really any practical difference.

As long as it's not Round 3, whether it's round 1 or 2 won't really impact your admissions decision.
