Re: Researchers have discovered a new species of sparrow

Certainly, E provides that structure. It's worth thinking of the slight difference in meaning between 'discovered a sparrow living' and 'discovered a sparrow that lives'. However, we can easily eliminate answer E for the wrong idiom 'different than'.

For answer D, there are two problems: the modifier error, and the parallelism between 'that lives' and 'whose coloring'.
