Question Banks

Generally speaking I've found the math question banks to be a lot more challenging then the math questions found in the official guide. Is this correct?

There is a higher proportion of hard questions in the math question banks, yes.

Are the question banks computer adaptive? I was reviewing the results and noticed that the questions got progressively harder throughout the section when I continued to answer correctly.

The question banks are not adaptive, no - they are static. If you took the bank again, you'd see the same 25 questions in the same order.
