Question about the test order choice

by KaipengX51 Wed Jan 03, 2018 12:09 am

Hi everyone,

I realized that you have three test orders you can choose during the GMAT test.
1. AWA, IR, Q, V
2. V, Q, IR, AWA
3. Q, V, IR, AWA

My question is if I choose choice 1 (AWA, IR, Q, V), when I work on the verbal part, will the typing of other testers who are working on AWA too loud? That might potentially impact the concentration and focus. Any experienced testers?

Thank you very much,
KX

The people in the testing center with you will not be starting the test at the same time as you and they can also all choose whatever order they want—so you may hear other people typing at any time during your test. (In fact, the other people in the testing center may not even be taking the GMAT. The test center administers dozens of kinds of tests.) They will also have their breaks at different times than you, so you will hear people entering and leaving the room periodically while you are working.

The testing centers do provide either earplugs or noise-cancelling headphones (some centers have both), so if you are worried about any noise bothering you, I suggest taking advantage of those. Good luck!
