Hi there,
Thanks for your post and glad we can be of help.
You certainly have a lot going on in your profile; generally that can be a plus, lots of factors to consider, and also sounds like you do have a fairly good sense of your strengths and weaknesses as a candidate at this point, which is good.
Certainly nailing that GMAT will eliminate the possibility of that becoming a concern so be sure to focus on that.
There are a growing number of engineers applying to b-school, so 'lack of business experience' isn't truly a concern, and b-schools actually like a variety of backgrounds to draw from within classroom discussions. As an engineer you would want to be sure you show that you are MORE than just a technical/quant/analytical guy though; those are important traits for b-school but all engineers applying have those traits, and they are also evident on your resume/academics/elsewhere....so you want to be the engineer who ALSO has great people skills, or creativity, or something memorable if at all possible. ;)
The lack of leadership and teamwork etc could be a challenge. I know it's inherent in the job... but still weren't there any times that you influenced others, even if not in a leadership role? That can still count... and/or worked with different types of people or personalities to accomplish tasks or projects?
Also think about times you went above and beyond what was asked, and any way in which you impacted results, either directly or as part of a team effort; all good to highlight on applications.
The in-depth experience in nuclear engineering sounds interesting and would likely help you stand out some from the crowd of engineer applicants. And aiming to tie that in to your future goals shows that your story makes sense which is important.
Your more recent high grades should help any concern about your undergrad GPA. One question however is just, why all the masters degrees? And are you certain the MBA is necessary given those? I think you have an explanation as to your career path and why it's necessary, but I just know that could come up in admissions discussions.
What sort of military service is mandatory--- for another country or?
Certainly getting in some volunteering is a plus but depends on how do-able it is for you.
Let us know what other questions you have, and good luck!
