Profile Evaluation

Hi Alex,

Please give me your thoughts on my profile and school aspirations

Background- US born citizen, multi-ethnic
Academics: GPA 3.5 in finance & Computer Science, GMAT 610, having a recent professor in a post-baccalaureate class write a strong supplemental (3rd) LOR
WE- 3 Years in Financial Management Rotational Program for a fortune 100 company, had several special projects and worked with senior mgmt
EC’s- Very strong, led community initiative group which had a major project dealing with working in urban area elementary education, ran inaugural student managed fund in college
LOR’s- from 2 of my previous managers @ same company
Goals: General Consulting/Strategy with an eventual movement to run a NPO, I have demonstrated this through thoroughly through my essays

Schools (Your thoughts):
UNC (Early Decision): My thoughts- a stretch but 80% GMAT 610-720, had an interview went well, maybe a diversity point or two helps me?? Your thoughts?
Your thoughts on my feasibility @ other schools: Georgetown, BC, Vanderbilt & Indiana?
I have all of these R1 Apps done, should I apply to one safety school R2, if so can you recommend a couple

You're on the margins. The GMAT isn't the be-all end-all, but your GMAT is on the lower bounds of the schools you mentioned. Sit tight. If you've put together a strong application, you just might get into the schools you listed.
