I want to do MBA in Finance from any prestigious college(in US, or in UK);
Please tell me which MBA school suits my profile...

Undergrad:- B.Tech, Mechanical Engineering, CGPA 7.65/10
(2006 passout)

Since graduation i have worked in family business, a small scale business with 1.2 million dollar annual turnover and with 50 people working in it. The business is about manufacturing of power plants components like rotor, turbine, jigs and fixtures etc.

Although i have worked for a very short period since graduation, i have served various activities, such as
Technical assistances (owing to my graduation from technical field)
Material Purchase
Evaluation of the cost of the equipment
Marketing; across power plants in india

Within a year i make the company an ISO certified company;

I have scored 720 (q50, v44) in gmat

can you please tell me the top colleges where i should apply, demographies no bar; i want to work in a reputed firm, after my mba, which can offer me decent salary, and prospective future.

Why mba in finance??

I do have a family business at home ; but its a join business of my father and my uncle; i can exploit its resources only to a certain extent. So i want to establish my own business in a long term;

Owing to my business family, i am good at entrepreneurship. What i really lack is financial skill such as how to generate funds, how to manage funds, how can stock market help u etc.

Hence i want to do MBA in finance. Also, before going to business, i want to have some experience in the field of finance.

Please let me know if you think I have a decent chance at Notre Dame and Vanderbilt.

GMAT: 650
GPA: 2.75 (worked 20+ hours a week and was a 4 year student athlete that went to nationals....this partially explains the low GPA)
WORK: 8 years in fixed income structuring and trading at bulge bracket firms in NYC
VOLUNTEER: guide for blind runners in both training for marathons and actually running marathons

Thanks for the help
