Hi there,

Thanks for posting. Overall it sounds like you have a solid profile; probably most ideal for schools in the 15-25-ish range give or take. Not sure if you are focusing on US or global programs? If you do re-take the GMAT and really rock it ;), you would have more of a shot at even higher ranked programs, with a strong application.

As far as the GPA, it could be higher, and yes those first 2 years on your transcript will look pretty rough. Better the great grades in year 4 than vice versa though! At this point all you can do is focus on that GMAT, and potentially take a class to show your current academic skill if desired.

There are a lot of engineering applicants so you would need to stand out from that crowd, so think about what makes you different from other engineers and what makes you unique. ;) Good luck and keep us posted with q's!
