Hello everybody!
I recently took the GMAT exam without much prep time due to some unexpected developments that put me under pressure to take the test quickly or I would have missed a deadline.
My score looks as follows
Verbal 40 / 90%
Quant 33 / 33%
Total 610 / 66%
AW 6.0 / 90%
IR 7 / 81%
Other info:
- German citizen
- studied and worked in Germany
- studied and worked abroad during studies (Madrid, Spain: 5 months + Paris, France: 3 months)
- 2 years work experience at a global logistics provider
- Bachelor's degree (3 yrs) in Logistics Management with GPA ~4.0 (http://www.foreigncredits.com/Resources/GPA-Calculator/) - obtained through a dual studies program at the same employer, which gives me an extra 1,5 work experience though not professionally per say
- Nominated for a well renowned scholarship
- TOEFL ibt 115
As you can see, all scores are pretty good except for the quant section that i butchered completely, I realize that.
My question is: How would admissions offices of let's say top 15 public schools see my profile when evaluating it for a MBA program with focus Supply Chain Management? Does the relatively low total score or the horrible quant score kill my chances (If so which one or both equally?)? Or are they somewhat balanced out by scholarship, work and international experience?
Thanks a lot for your assessments!
Best regards
Julian
