Hi,
I have done computer engineering from delhi, India and currently working in a good MNC from past 7 months.
I took gmat on 4th july, that is yesterday, and scored as follows :
Aggr - 650
Quant - 49
Verbal - 30
I had scored 84.6% in 12th and 83.6% in 10th (both in CBSE).
In college I have an aggr. percentage of 76.7.
Also, I have played in various sports at zone , interzone and state levels and I have won many with gold and silver medals.I won silver in tug-of-war at STATE level.
I had been playing these sports from school and times and continued in college.
PLease provide me the details of some good B schools where I can apply as I have a got alot of information surfing on net and I am very confused now.
Please provide me names of some B schools world-wide where I can apply and stand a chance.

Thanks for sharing your profile. If I'm interpreting this correctly, you've only graduated from college 7 months ago. In this case, it is likely too early for you to apply to business school. On average, candidates have at least 3-5 years of professional work experience before applying to business school. If you've only been working for seven months, it will be difficult to have had the opportunity to demonstrate leadership.
If this is not the case and you do have a few years of work experience, I think that you include schools like Texas McCombs, Georgia Institute of Technology, and also schools like Georgetown, University of Washington, etc. Basically, I would aim for the bottom of the top tier and the top of the 2nd tier programs. There are a couple reasons for this based on what I can glean about your profile:
1. You are an Indian IT candidate. The competition is fierce and it will be difficult to compete here with a 650 GMAT.
2. Your profile is somewhat one dimensional. I did not see mention of any community activities post-college, nor any post-college extracurriculars. This is very important, and especially important for candidates in your demographic. Displaying leadership in multiple facets of life, especially if your career hasn't lent itself to a lot of leadership opportunities, is critical.
3. Your professional experience sounds like it is technology focused, versus business focused. These roles traditionally do not traditionally lend themselves to leadership opportunities, so this could be a challenge.
I hope this helps focus you on the appropriate tier of schools. As for suggesting specific schools for you to apply to, that is something I can't do, as it is a very personal choice and should be something you research thoroughly. You should take into account several factors, including your career goals and the academic fit of the program, the location of the program, class size, structure/flexibility of curriculum, culture, etc. Ask yourself what you are looking for in a program, and research to find which programs will be the best fits. Talk to current students at your target schools to learn more, or try to visit if you can!
