I want to do MBA because I want to venture into my own power plant based on Non conventional energy resources.Having gained a sufficient insight of power sector during my stint with a major power producer of the nation, I consider it is the right time to enhance my management skills and move ahead in direction of my goal.

Kindly evaluate my profile and suggest what are the chances of getting into following B-schools-

Hi Geetika,

Thanks for writing in and sharing those details. I like that your GMAT is both strong and balanced between Quant and Verbal, and your goal of operating a power plant should help differentiate you from the cohort of Indian engineering applicants. As this is a somewhat unique plan, make sure your essays clearly state why your past experience and the MBA will help you reach these goals.

I see that you list a lot of your college service work -- for an MBA application you really want to focus on your post-college accomplishments, just an FYI point.

I would rate Kellogg and Tuck as reach schools, Sloan as a near-reach, and I think the rest would likely be competitive for you. Hope this was helpful and good luck!
