Hi Alankrita123,

One-year programs tend to draw a bit of a different candidate pool, and it will be very important in your essays to explain why you are seeking this accelerated program. I don't know much about your work accomplishments or what you aim to achieve from an MBA program, but at a high-level you have good academics, and if you can top 700 when you retake the GMATs you will likely ease concerns about your scores.

As you likely know, many Indian candidates come from the technology sector, so I encourage you to leverage any work or extracurricular experience you have that would make you stand out in your essays.

I can't comment specifically on your chances at INSEAD without knowing more specifics in your background and post-MBA goals.

Other one-year programs you may want to investigate included Cornell, Oxford and Cambridge.

Best of luck,

Daniel Richards
