Thanks for writing in and congratulations on a fantastic GMAT score.

As HBS will likely see many candidates with 750+ GMAT scores, your challenge is to show that there is more to you beyond your score. It seems like you've shown high potential in your early career -- you'll want to make sure you describe that clearly in non-industry terms in your essay, and point to people leadership and your promotions as a strength.

Your weakness would be extracurriculars. Since you don't want to just start something now for the sake of it -- you'll need to find instances in your work that clearly demonstrate leadership.

Hi Daniel,

Thanks for your reply,. I just have 2 more questions:
1. My GPA in college was 7.8/10, while the branch topper got 9.2. What would be the equivalent GPA in the US systems?

2. HBS wants the applicant to upload a resume. But they have not given any format. Can you please recommend any resume format - how long should it be (1-pager only?)?

1) Sorry I am not sure how to translate your GPA.

2) I would recommend a 1-page PDF; there is no standard format.
