Hello,

There will be no problem if you take the test a third time. I would probably not advise taking it a fourth or fifth time. I would recommend retaking the test if you think that you can increase your score by 20 points or more. It is very difficult to suggest MBA programs that you might consider since there are hundreds of programs and I am do not know what your criteria includes. If you do not know much about U.S. business schools, I recommend reading the profiles of MBA programs provided by a publication like BusinessWeek or U.S. News & World Report so that you can learn more about the students who are accepted as well as things like curriculum, the alumni community, the teaching methodology and professional specializations.

You have a lot going on including professional achievement, strong undergraduate grades and leadership outside of work, so I am don’t think that you are missing anything that you need to add to your application. As I mentioned earlier, if you think that you can increase your GMAT score significantly, I would take it again. Other than that, I don’t have any other recommendations on how to strengthen your application.

Sincerely,

Akiba Smith-Francis

Thanks a lot Adam. That was helpful.

I guess I forgot to mention the kind of colleges I was looking for. But I will look through your suggestions for Business week and US news reports and then will put a message once I am more informed. But thanks a lot for your reply.
