WHY MBA ?
My career goals are threefold: first, I want to direct the operations of my current employer, Ashland Water Technologies, in Southern California; second, I want to work as a business consultant in a management consulting firm; third, I aim to pursue upper management positions, particularly the role of CEO within a waste management firm, potentially my own
GPA, GMAT and TOEFL:
Undergrad GPA: 2,3 ( Bogazici University, Istanbul, Turkey - This is a great GPA for my department in my college! All Bogazici university’s engineering programs are ABET (Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology) certified, and all the previous ABET observers who came to our university have commented both verbally and in writing on the low GPA of most of our students.)
Grad GPA: 4.0/5.0 ( Chalmers University, Sweden)
TOEFL: 117 / 120
GMAT : 620 ( Q:49 V:27 AWA:5.5)
I applied to UCLA FEMBA R3 this year and got rejected.
I am aware that I have to improve my GMAT score ( I am in the second week of my online class)
Do you think I can get accepted to UC Berkeley, USC or UCLA ( Part time MBA Programs) - my GPA concerns me but I think B-Schools are experienced with international GPA's.
Thanks,
Gmat Delight
