Profile evaluation for phd in business management

Hello,

Would you mind evaluating my profile for a Phd in Business Management?

I am a hispanic female who has a BA and MA from a state college in English and my GPA for each is 3.26 and 3.66 respectively.

I have been a full time community college professor for 5 years teaching English and have received numerous college wide teaching awards. I have also presented at many conferences in my field, both state and nationwide.

I have always been interested in organizational fairness (and thus am a union representative at my college) and in gender inequity in pay, thus my desire to go into a phd program and research.

My first attempt at the GMAT was disappointing (620) after a night of no sleep due to anxiety, so I plan on retaking the test in about a week and a half. I am hoping to score a 670 if at all possible.

My goal is to apply to universities in Texas such as Rice, Texas a&m, and UT.

What are my chances of getting in with or without improving my GMAT score?

I suggest checking out the class profile information for recently admitted PhD students at the schools you are interested in so you can best compare yourself to their levels, scores and experience.
