Profile Evaluation-5 yrs of exp.,GPA of 3.5 & GMAT score-620

Hi,

I appeared for GMAT exam recently and scored 620 (Q40, V34 and AWA 5.0) on it. I am writing to seek advise and inputs on the competitiveness of my profile for the colleges I am planning to apply to. I am an engineering graduate and an MBA from India with five years of experience in Human Resource consulting space and have worked for clients both in domestic and European market. I also have a GPA score of 3.5 in MBA and 3.0 in engineering degree. Does having an MBA degree already weaken my candidature and do the following schools accept such applications?
I intend to apply to the following schools:
1. W.P.Carey School of Business
2. Foster School of Business
3. Fisher School of Business
4. Kelley School of Business
5. Georgia Tech. School of Business
6. Rutgers School of Business
7. Emory University (Goizueta)
Please advise if I stand a chance in any of the above mentioned schools.

Hi Nother,

Thanks for writing in. Each school will have its own policy on whether or not they will look at applicants who previously earned an MBA overseas. I don't know the details of the schools you listed, but a simple call to the admissions office should be able to answer that question.

Your GMAT is largely within the 20-80 range of the schools you listed, but mostly on the lower end of that range. Most importantly though, you will want to express clearly in your essays why you are seeking a second MBA, and what this degree will help accomplish that you can't achieve with your current degree.
