prepositional phrase + independent: correct structure ?

by Eddie Gutia Sat Aug 02, 2014 11:50 pm

HI,

Below is a question from GMAT SC chapter 5:

We finally choose the coffee table towards the back of the store, which we thought would complement our living room furniture.

Can i fix the issue in the sentence by rewriting it as shown below:

Towards the back of the store, we finally choose the coffee table, which we thought would complement our living room furniture.

Thanks,
Aditya

This folder is solely for problems from the GMAT PREP freeware.

I don't know exactly what "GMAT SC chapter 5" means, since "GMAT SC" is not the title of any book.
If you mean the MGMAT book, then this question belongs in the MGMAT non-CAT verbal folder.

Thanks.
