In the second passage of Perp 2012 RC, I met a confusing question, PREP2012-Pack1-RC-002-04 VRC07544-04. It's the 4th question of the passage.

The passage suggests that which of the following is a prediction concerning meteor streams that can be derived from both the conventional theories mentioned in the highlighted text and the new computer derived theory?

I don't know the similarity of the two theories. Which is the right choice and why? Thanks!!!
