please,do me a favor

1、'Toxic substances present as little risk as one chance in a million of causing cancer.' AND 'Toxic substances present as little risk of causing cancer as one chance in a million.' express the same meaning?

2、'a leopard's skill is as impressive as that of a cheetah in catching a wildebeest.' AND 'a leopard's in catching a wildebeest as impressive as that of a cheetah ' express the same meaning?

thank you for your help

think that in both 1 and 2 the second sentence is wrong/convoluted, both from meaning and from grammar standpoint.

in 1 we are comparing toxis substances with chance
in 2 its just plain wrong. <that of a cheetah> refers to nothing. the word skill, which is presumably what we are trying to compare, is not present.

hi -- this is the incorrect folder for a post like this one; this kind of post belongs in the general verbal folder, unless it was actually inspired by a question from the gmat prep software.

so:

* if this problem was actually inspired by a question from the gmat prep software, then please post the entire problem, with answer choices, before posting your question (per the forum rules).

* if this is a random question, please create a new thread in the general verbal folder.

thanks.
