Please read before posting: guidelines

Hi, all

We're still developing the full set of guidelines, but I wanted to get some preliminary notes up.

As always, you do have to type into the post the text of the question stem itself and the answer choices, but you CAN use screen shots to show the full prompts for Multi-Source Reasoning, Table analysis, and Graphic interpretation questions. Please do not use screen shots for Two-Part analysis unless the problem includes a diagram or something else that can't be created in text.

Next, it's VERY important that you make sure that the Subject line clearly identifies the question. The default is to use the first 5 to 8 words of the prompt as the subject line unless you think there's a better / more obvious way for everyone to recognize this problem.

There's only a limited pool of official IR questions at this point, so let's try to create only one thread for each question and keep all discussion of that problem in the same place.

Finally, note that the OG ban still applies. We can discuss any FREE official IR questions here (within the GMATPrep 2.0 exams, the 15 free questions that come with the GMATPrep 2.0 software, and any free sample questions that are posted on the mba.com website). But that's it.

Happy studying! (And this entry will expand / be edited in future.)

I'm new to the forum and very forum-inept! Is there a step-by-step instruction I could find as to how to post a screenshot or image on a post? I've tried everything but it didn't work for me.

you can do one of two things.

1/
you can use the following:
[ i m g ]________[ / i m g ]
and then put a Web address for the image (not for the whole web page on which it's found!) in the blank.
take the spaces out of the "img" things, of course. (i had to put those there, otherwise it would think i was embedding an image!)

2/
if the image is on your own computer, you can post it to a site such as postimage.org, and then post the link that you get when you upload it.
