Hi -

Most top programs look for 80th percentile in Q and V, so your verbal score is a bit on the weaker side. If you have taken the test only once, then you may consider retaking it. If you do not believe improving is doable and have already taken the test more than once, then you should apply with your score as is.

As it relates to your undergraduate scores, while I cannot not the details of your family situation, it may make sense to address this issue in your optional essay.
