Thanks for your question. Your background looks interesting, most notably, your entrepreneurial experience and your experience with a family business. Also, your leadership experience as a point guard in high school and college can be leveraged in your application. I do feel that you have two significant weaknesses however: 1) your GMAT score is lower than the average GMAT scores of your target schools and your verbal score and AWA score will likely raise a red flag about your English skills; 2) you don't have any community leadership experiences right now.

Do you think you an do better on the GMAT? If so, you should consider taking it again, and you should be competitive at the schools you are targeting. Also, I would encourage you to get involved (in a leadership capacity) in an organization that ties to your interests/passions so you can show continued involvement in the community.

Best of luck!

Dear Monica

First of all thank you for your detailed reply.. As for my weaknesses , i know that my verbal score of GMAT is very low. on the other hand my toefl score, which i assume is a significant indicator of verbal skills of non-natives, somehow should lessen the concerns, don't you think? In fact i only studied a week for GMAT exam because of my job. And didnt practice very much ..I believe i could raise my score up to 700+ within a month but i think with a good package of application i 'd manage my targeted schools . Yet again, if you really think that my chances are low then i should better start studying :(
Thanks again for everything..

PS : I added RUTGERS to the list of my targeted schools so i'd appreciate if you'll evaluate this school ....
