Respected sir,
I am from India.I want to apply to B- schools in Canada.I was not able to eceive good score in verbal as time ran out and i had to complete in a hurry 10 questions in 10 minutes including a reading comprehension. This brought down my score.I was really disappointed after receiving the score.I plan to retake gmat after i applying to these schools , maybe in march.

I am planning to apply to MCMASTER UNIVERSITY DEGROOTE SCHOOL OF BUSINESS for Fall 2010 session. I am targeting Early application Deadline of Dec'09.

My Short profile is :
GMAT: 590(Q-48,V-23) AWA - 4
TOEFL: Yet to take
Work Ex: TOTAL 2 YEARS -PRESENLY. I am working as a software developer in one of the top IT companies of the world
Extra Curri: Decent
Academic : Good (among the top rankers of the class)
B.tech computer science - 70%
12 th - 72%
10 th - 80%

I am applying to following B schools .
1. DEGROOTE SCHOOL OF BUSINESS,MCMASTER UNIVERSITY
2. SOBEY SCHOOL OF BUSINESS , ST MARY UNIVERSITY
3. UNIVERSITY OF VICTORIA

The average score of mcmaster was 620 and average experience is 2 years , but they require 600 gmat minimum.
Please evaluate my profile & give me your feedback, also kindly suggest me other decent b-school in CANADA in which i can apply for fall 2010.

I will be obliged to hear from you.

Hi -

We tend to have more experience with top 25 programs globally so I am not sure I can add much value as it relates to your list of schools or suggesting other programs. With that said, I would definitely suggest a retake, particularly if you know that your targeted program has a 600 minimum. It would be best if you could take the test before applying, but if that is not possible then I would suggest taking as soon after the deadline. Typically, AdCom's cannot guarantee that they will consider information submitted after a deadline.

Best,
Erin
