I have a MSCF and it is my understanding that MBA and MSCF have two completely focuses. I would suggest that you decide what you want as MSCF is completely specialized unlike an MBA. Also, it is important to have extracurriculars such as volunteering, charity, etc. as you want to show schools that you have good work-life balance and can mingle well with other people; perhaps you should join an organization or two if you plan to apply next year.
