PhD application query: profile review

by deodhar.swanand Mon Dec 03, 2012 12:17 pm

Hi,

I am sorry if this is irrelevant on this forum.

I gave the GMAT today and scored a mediocre 620 (44 Q, 32 V). I am not in a position to retake GMAT and have to go ahead with this score.

I am interested in applying for PhD programs. My profile is as follows:

B.Sc (Maths): 76%
MBA (Info. Sys): 78%

I also have undergone formal research training at one of the best management institutes in India and have a total of 4 years of research experience. I also have about 6 publications including papers in fairly reputed international journals and a dissertation.

Based on faculty with matching research interests, I am targeting following Universities:

Whitman (Uni. of Seracuse)
Smeal (PennState)
Simon (Rochester)
LeBow (Drexel Uni.)

What are my chances? Please advice.

Hello,

My apologies, but this forum is meant for MBA candidates and not phD candidates. I wish I could be of more help, but I am not as well versed on the requirements for admission into phD programs.

Best of luck,
Mili
