Online Labs

I just finished the first online class of the 9 week course. The homework includes an online lab for DS questions. Is this something we should take even though the only prep we've done for DS was in the first class? In other words, should we study something before we do the online lab?

You can go ahead and do this lab even though you haven't done much actual math studying - it's okay!
