what are your thoughts on the value of one year programs? are they tougher to get into? are the career opportunities as good?

Thank you for your inquiry. There is a degree of variability with respect to one year programs. For example, INSEAD cannot be measured against the Cornell one year option. Assuming that you mean a traditional two year program (HBS, W, S) at a top-school vs. a traditional one year program (INSEAD), recruiters understand the structures and will still recruit aggressively at both.
