OG Tracker

by mitchbeck1 Thu Aug 09, 2012 7:07 pm

Hi I'm an MGMAT student who just finished the course. I've heard great things about the how helpful the OG Tracker is in studying in the weeks preceding your test. I would love to download the spreadsheet. Can anyone tell me where/how to find it?

Thanks!

OG Archer is an online interface.

After you login to manhattangmat.com, go to the Student Center, click on the Homework & Practice tab and click on "Launch OG Archer." You will need your OG Book to use this program. For copyright reasons, MGMAT cannot show you the whole problem online so you must read it from your book(s). Once you launch the program, you can start at problem one and run through consecutively or you can select any problem number you want (click on lower toolbar area) from several editions or other verbal and quant. books.

After you have begun doing a number of problems, the statistics (button in upper right corner) become very useful in analyzing your strengths and weaknesses. It will also let you know what score level the questions are in.

Hope that helps.

Thanks, Wharton!

Yep, the OG tracker spreadsheet doesn't exist any longer - it's all online now in a problem called OG Archer. For anyone reading this, you will already have access if you're taking the class, doing tutoring, or doing one of the self study packages. For others, if you don't already have access, you can buy access only to the OG Archer if you so desire. :)

I have the lite version of the OG Tracker. Is it worth buying the full version? What additions does it have? Also, next to the drop down for the book you are using there is a drop down that says SC, RC, CR, PS, DS, Diag. What does changing these drop downs do?

Thanks for the help.

Do you mean that you have the lite version of OG Archer?

OG Tracker is an Excel spreadsheet. OG Archer is our online tool that lets you keep track of your OG performance, read explanations or view video explanations, etc.

I'm not sure what's included in the lite version vs. the full version. I'll ask one of our Student Services reps to come and answer (but, FYI, tomorrow is a national holiday in the US and the office is closed, so you might not get a response till next week).

You can also try posting the question in the Ask Student Services folder. They might see a post there faster than they'll see my request for them to answer your post here. :)

Hi,

Thanks for your interest in the OG Archer. The full OG Archer includes detailed explanations for every quant question in the Official Guide 12th Edition and hundreds of explanations (with new explanations being added regularly) for quant and verbal problems from the Official Guide 13th Edition. There are also questions "hotlisted" by our instructors as being extremely tricky.

The Drop down menus allow you to search for specific questions in the Archer. If you select a book ( OG 12 or 13), select a problem type (C, RC, CR, PS, DS, Diag), and a question number then hit the "go" button you'll be taken to that specific question. If you have any further questions feel free to contact Student Services at studentservices@manhattangmat.com or 800-576-4628.

Thank you for your responses.

One last question. I am using the OG Archer Lite, but have heard great things about the original OG Tracker (spreadsheet). Is this still available? Where can I purchase or download it?

Thanks in advance.

I've just sent Student Services a message asking them to reply!

(Note for future: for these kinds of questions, you'll get a faster reply if you post in the Ask Student Services folder. They don't check the Instructor folders.)

Hi There! We no longer use the OG tracker spreadsheet. Many of the functions of the tracker are now built into the OG Archer.

Best,
