% of Questions should I get right in Advanced Quant Book

by in10st Sun Apr 29, 2012 6:48 pm

Hi, my target score is a 760. I have been studying on and off for a while. My math score is at about the 70%, on the last CAT test I took on manhattangmat.com. I am working on the Advanced Quant book, and have completed the first 3 workouts. I am getting a range of 4-6 questions right, per each 10 question workout.

Is this above or below the 750-760 scoring range for the Quantitative section? What percentage of questions do you think someone looking to score in the 1% should get right on these workouts?

I don't know, unfortunately - I don't have any data to tell me what percentage of questions people "should" get in that book in order to hit a certain score.

But here is the data to tell you what your current scoring level is:

My math score is at about the 70%, on the last CAT test I took on manhattangmat.com.

If it has been a while since that test, take another. Make sure to take practice CATs under 100% official conditions, including essays, length of breaks, etc. That will tell you what your current level is - you won't have to guess. :)
