Numerical comparisons

by njoy.prakash Sun Nov 06, 2011 2:15 pm

Hey,

The last chapter in MGMAT Verbal Guide tells that,

in comparisons,

high, higher, low and lower act as ADVERBS.

more and less are flexible and can either act as ADVERBS/ ADJECTIVES.

Can you please list me the words to be used as ADVERBS modifying the verb.

Unfortunately your request is outside the scope of this forum, since there are all sorts of words that can serve as adverbs:

He walked to work quickly.

I took the GMAT yesterday.

The dog sadly watched his master leave the house.

This website has some nice information: http://www.towson.edu/ows/adverbs.htm
