by moberti Thu Apr 29, 2010 10:52 pm

If x> 1 , what is the value of integer x

(1) There are x unique factors of x
(2) The sume of x and any prime number larger than x is odd

Do not understand the explanation on the book...

What does it mean by x unique factors of x...

By unique factors, we mean different.

The number 9, for example, is the product of 3 * 3. However, we'll only count 3 as one unique factor. The number 9 has three unique factors: 1, 3, and 9.

Hope that makes sense.
