Hi,
I am facing problems with verbal. I feel like i have hit a roadblock. I have given all 6 MGMAT with scores between 710 - 740, with quant ranging between 49-51 and verbal around 35-40. I wrote GMAT prep, and my scores were 710 (q - 50, v-35) and 740 (q - 51, v - 40). I wrote the last 4 MGMATs and both GMAT preps with official conditions, that is, with essay and IR section (IR score between 4-6) and with no pause except for the 8 min break. I don't really have an issue with timing, and i am around +/- 3 min mark during the test and usually finish up with 3-5 mins left.
For verbal, i studied OG, then SC Manhattan sentence correction and CR bible. Apart from them, i also went through SC grail.
The issue that i am facing is that i am not able to improve my verbal score. I am usually around the 35-40 mark, and get almost the same number of questions incorrect in all sections, around 3-4 questions wrong in each CR, RC and SC.
Before my last MGMAT and GMAT prep, i revised my weaker sections in verbal (sections with 50-75 % accuracy in MGMAT), but i got the same result.
I am planning to write GMAT in about 20-25 days, and usually get in around 2-3 hours of study a day. Would going back and doing OG with deeper analysis of each question help?
I am new to the blog, so please excuse if any of the guidelines are not followed in the question.
EDIT - I am really confused about the GMAT dates, according to my study plan i should be giving it in 20 days, but looking at the blocker in verbal should i postpone my date? Should i first book the date and then work on these problems, or should i first resolve these blockers and then book the date? Apart from verbal, i don't think i would need to spend heavy time on other sections except for regular practice to be in touch.
Thanks in advance.
