MIT-Sloan?

by Ferrari Wed Sep 03, 2008 12:05 am

How competitive is MIT-Sloan?

Would you rank it with HBS, Stanford, Yale?

or with the likes of Univ Chicago, Tuck, UCLA etc?

Thanks,

Here's the tiers:

- HBS, Stanford, Wharton (generally, Stanford is the hardest to get into, then followed by HBS and Wharton).

- Kellogg, Chicago, Sloan, Columbia and Tuck (roughly the same when it comes to reputation and "how hard is it to get in")

- Duke, Darden, Michigan, Haas, NYU, UCLA, Cornell, Yale (all roughly the same when it comes to reputation and "how hard is it to get in").

LBS?

I'm looking at LBS and it never seems to get included in these types of lists. What's your take on where it lands - I'm not sure if it's more Columbia/Sloan level or Yale/Duke?

LBS and INSEAD are also top tier - somewhere in between the Kellogg/Chicago/Sloan/Columbia/Tuck tier and the Duke/Darden/Michigan/etc. tier in terms of "how hard is it to get in".
