Hi
My GMAT exam is on the 10th of April and i have finished all the MGMAT tests.
The scores are as follows-
CAT 1- 590
CAT-2- 580
CAT-3- 570
CAT-4- 580
CAT-5 -590
CAT 6- 640
1) Although on first reading the scores look pretty grim, but my on my
last paper i scored a 640. The reason for that is better time
management on the last test. Also i gave all the tests under the real
time test conditions and didn't see any question that i might have
solved during practice.
2) I have been brought up in an academic environment where solving
each question correctly is a priority. Hence i wasted a lot of time on
questions that i wasn't able to solve in the first go. As a result i
was just marking(wild guesses) the last 10-12 questions in both the
sections, and in most cases these answers were wrong. Therefore in my
last two test i changed my strategy and tried to stick to the 2 minute
per question strategy.
3) I have to admit that the last test score has given me a boost, but
i dont know whether i will be able to do better( get a 670-700). Could
you give me some advice on what i could do more?.
4)As regards to the MGMAT quant questions, are they a bit more time
consuming that the Official Problems.?
5)Similarly, i also found the CR answer options( after shortlisting 2)
too close to pick. Closer than the official problems.
6) Last point, rather question is that is the actual GMAT tougher/
easier/ at par ( in a broad sense) than the MGMATs.?
As for my prep i have done all my prep from the MGMAT series, solved
all the GMAT prep question( Question Pack 1), OG 13, 12 AND 10.
i would really
appreciate it if someone could just give me some strategy tips.I think i've goofed up with the timing barring my last test.
Thanks
