I've taken 4 MGMAT CAT exams. On the first three, the majority of the math questions I answered were in the 700-800 range. I got approximately 40% of those wrong, generally giving me a quant score in the 45ish range.
On the fourth CAT exam, I got some of the beginning math questions wrong and the majority of the math questions ended up being in the 600-700 range. I only got approximately 15-20% of these questions wrong and my quant score was 50!
Is this representative of the way the GMAC CAT exam will be graded? I.e. does it make sense to try to get easier questions that you know you can get right?
