MGMAT CAT - Assessment View

by priyankur.saha Sun Feb 15, 2009 8:44 am

Hello,
I am not sure whether only I am facing this issue with MGMAT CAT Assessment section. After taking full length CAT exam, I use to go through Assessment review section to itemize my weaknesses in each topic. For example, Strengthen type shows all the questions categorized under this section alongwith comparative percentage respective to other topics. This section is really helpful to find out weaknesses quickly; however, I also find that few questions are categorized wrongly such as sometime I find Evaluate type question is counted under strengthen type and if I do mistake in that evaluate type question, this question reduces the overall percentage for strengthen type question. Is it possible to re-organize questions accordingly so that topic wise questions will not consider questions of other topic?

If you ever find any mis-categorizations (or other errors!), please let us know (here on the forums, or send an email to techsupport@manhattangmat.com) and we will fix things. Just send us the specific name of the question, what it's categorized as, and what the category is supposed to be. Most of them are categorized properly but every now and then a mistake creeps into the database!

Note that some questions are categorized in multiple categories; when this happens, one category is the "primary" category and only that one shows up in the assessment reports. The secondary categories are not included in the analysis.

Agree with you Stacey that there are very few such mistakes. I will mail those questions' details to the ID you mentioned above. Thank you.
