Hi

"The employees were upset by the company's low pay, poor working conditions, and shortage of outlets for employees' creativity."

This example is given under ch07. As per this guide, the most important words in the three items in the list are: pay, conditions, and shortage"”and all of these are nouns.

As per me, parallel words should be "pay". "conditions" and "shortage of outlets" (inplace of only shortage). Pls suggest

"Of outlets" is a modifier describing "shortage", so there's really no disagreement here.
