Manhattan Strategy guide 3, Page no:101, Question no:1.

by ravi.leaders Tue Apr 03, 2012 9:05 am

Dear Sir/Madam,

In Manhattan Strategy guide 3, Page no:101, Question no:1.

If 4x - 12 >= x + 9, which of the following must be true?
(A)x>6 (B)x<7 (C)x>7 (0)x>8 (E)x<8

Answer for this would be (C) because we finally get answer x>=7 than it means x>7.

even this can mean x>6 (the answer choose by you) but it can not be 6.1 to 6.9 (these are less than 7), which is not equal to final answer we got i.e x>=7. But it can be x>7.

guide me if i went wrong.

Thanks,
Regards,
Ravi
