Low verbal score

by Guest Tue Jul 22, 2008 12:51 am

I have got 80 percentile in quant section of Gmat and very low in verbal section and my total score is in low 600s. However I have always got A in verbal related subjects. My undergraduate percentage is also very good 83% in engineering and I have been part of many extra curricular activities. Should I apply to colleges taking my average score or less than that ?

Apply to the schools that you think will help you reach your career goals. It's not about what's "available" (a passive mentality), but what you want (an active mentality). Your GMAT score is a first order approximation of whether you're generally in the hunt for certain schools, but beyond that it's just a number.
