by raviagni Sun Aug 03, 2008 6:23 am

Hi,

Took the GMAT yesterday. Scored 750 in GMAT

Quant-47
Verbal-45

Took the exam second time..Last time scored 710,but 51 in quant.

will 47 affect my chance to get admission at Harvard,Insead etc....

I have 4 years IT experience, with having experience to work in Canada,France and China.

76% in B.Tech....

Plz suggest about my Quant score...Will it work for Top 10 institutes of the world?

Hi Raviagni,

Congratulations on a 750! That's a great score, which is competitive with the scores other top 10 business school applicants will submit with their applications. With that said, however, your admission to these schools depends a great deal on your application, and I am unfortunately not the best judge of that element of the admissions process. However, simply navigate to the Ask and Admissions Consultant section of our forums and someone will be glad to look at your resume and determine your competitiveness.

Best,

Hi Ravi,
I guess the ad-comm will get idea about your quants capabilities from your previous 51. Your last GMAT score will also be automatically reported.
I guess you have nothing to worry abt it.

On the other hand, Can you please brief how you managed to get a such a high Verbals score? What strategy you used etc....
