Letters of Recommendation

It talked to my boss about writing letters of recommendations for me, she said she would do it but, wants me to write them. I don't feel very confortable with this approach because I have read the schools can read through this. Any suggestions on getting her to write the recommendations for me?

Make it as easy for your boss to write it for them. Ask your boss why she insists on having you write it for her - and if she responds with "you know what works, I don't, plus I don't have time, blah blah blah" then tell her that adcoms have 2,000+ words of your writing in the form of essays and that it'll be obvious.

Every person is different, so you'll have to find your own way that will convince her to write it.
