LCM/GCF

by cooper2248817 Sat Sep 20, 2008 12:24 pm

How do we find lcm and gcf for two numbers.

For example:

5n/18 and 3n/18

is there a quick method I can use to derive the LCM and GCF.

Thanks

is n an integer here? Or do we have to account for the fact that n might be a fraction?

Also, do you want to know how to calculate LCM and GCF for two actual numbers? Or only for two algebraic expressions?
