LBS essay question on international experience

Hi,

I do not have any international experience in my profile. How do i approach the following essay question for LBS

Q-"Describe any significant experiences outside of your home country. What did you gain from these?"

I want to apply to LBS, but after going through the essay question i feel that the adcom would look for candidates having international experience, and i may not stand a chance.

Thank you for your inquiry.

With respect to LBS, the question can be stretched to include experiences doing business internationally from your home country, if necessary. While this is not optimal, this may give you another opportunity to reveal your experiences, beyond traditional travel. It certainly won’t help that you have had minimal international experience, but if you are a strong candidate regardless, you should not self-select out of the application process.
