Kindly evaluate my profile

Hi all,

first of all, thank you for this very lively forum !
Can you please have a look at my profile and tell me what do you think of it ?

Age : 26 y.o
Education : MSc In Computer Sciences + MFE from a top-tier school in France
Work experience : Trader (Associate) at an Investment Bank in Tokyo. (in total, 3 years of experience, including 1 y as an intern at similar roles in France)
Citizenship : Moroccan national.
Languages: Fluent in French, Arabic, English. Beginner/Intermediate in Spanish and Japanese.
International exposure : Grew up in Morocco until 17y.o, then stayed 6y in France, 1y in the UK and 2y in Japan.
Gmat: Not done yet, hopefully aiming 700+
Extracurricular activities : I would rate myself quite average on this.

For various personal reasons, my plan is to switch job next month and to start volunteering in my home country. Quite a radical shift but it is something I was actually hoping to do for quite some time.. So I would have also a few months as a volunteer in an NGO when I will be applying.

What do you think of my profile ?

Ideally, I will be aiming for Insead in Europe +
HBS / Stanford / Wharton / Booth / Kellog / Columbia / MIT in the US. (the usual suspects.. ;) )

I've just started thinking about an mba. However, I saw that either I will need to rush to close my apps before next April (for Round 3) or wait until Round 1 of next year.. What would you do if you were me ?

Hi! It sounds like you have an interesting background, especially all of the diverse places that you have lived. However, it is difficult to assess your profile without your GMAT score and more information regarding your work experience. The schools on your list are very competitive, and will require you to stand out from the crowd. With your upcoming job switch, you will have to show them why that move was important and what you got out of making such a move.

Lastly, I would encourage you to wait until next fall to apply rather than applying in Round 3, where the number of admitted students is much smaller than the previous two rounds.
