I have done B E in electrical engineering..
scored 68% in graduation.
work ex- 4yrs (software engineer)
gmat 610 :(

filed couple of patents while in job
online diploma from WIPO in Intellectual property rights
green belt in six sigma
excellent extra curri.
founder member of a NGO

how abt applying in

Univ of San diego,rochester (simon) ,maryland, gerorgetown (i knw bit diff at low gmat), Haas

rotman, york , british columbia (canada)

other suggestions if any..

Thanks for writing in. In order to give a fuller profile evaluation I would need to know more about your work experience and post-MBA goals. From the limited information I have, it seems like you have selected a wide range of schools to apply to, which I think is a smart approach. I am not familiar with the Canadian programs you mention. Georgetown and Hass are likely going to be reach schools, while San Diego may be a bit more in range. If you think you can improve your GMAT score you may want to take it again, as the San Diego web site lists its mean score as a 669.

Hi Swati,

Without knowing your post-MBA goals it is hard to comment on specific schools that would be a good match for your GMAT score. I suggest taking a look at a few of the different ranking sites to get a full picture of median GMAT scores and where you would be competitive, then narrow the list down based on which schools offer programs that fit your interest.
