is combinatorics tested ?

Hi Stacey / Sage -

I was recently informed by my instructor that combinatorics is no longer tested on the GMAT

Just wanted to confirm if that was the latest information by your understanding as well

That would be news to me. As I understand it, combinatorics is tested a lot less than it used to be, so that test-takers can typically expect to see a single combinatorics / probability problem. For that reason, most instructors encourage students not to spend much (if any) time on this topic.
