Hey,
I came across this blog while going through the 2+2 program related articles and newsletters on google and I was hoping if you could address a question I had:
HBS says that its 2+2 program mainly focuses on undergraduates with science/liberal arts majors or more specifically students having a non-business course.
In one 2+2 admission event, an admission officer was heard saying, "business majors are not the 2+2 target audience. They don't need our resources."
They encourage students to get involved in research projects, lab work and theses.
So my question is does getting involved in business related activities such case-studies, guess estimates and B-plan formulation in my college or taking management courses or doing business related internships somehow reduce my chances of getting admitted in the program as they are not 'targetting' business oriented students?
I have an opportunity to do an internship in microfinance this summer and apply for a economics/management/leadership course in LSE, but would that prove to be counter-productive to my application ?
Thank you!
Regard,
Prajya
